The traditional showbiz musical is turned on its head in this thrilling and compelling Broadway fable about friendship, compromise, and the high price of success. Merrily We Roll Along begins in the present and moves backwards, tracing the lives of wealthy, jaded composer Franklin Shepard and his two friends through each milestone (good and bad) of their personal and professional lives.

With a brilliant Broadway-style score and the crackling wit, humour, and deep insight one expects from any Sondheim endeavor, Merrily We Roll Along is a spirited and moving cautionary tale for anyone who has ever pursued a dream.

Merrily We Roll Along is directed by Christopher D. King, with musical direction by Arielle Balance, costumes by Chrystal Fergusson, lighting by Michael Hewitt, sound by Richard Berg, projection by Conor Moore, stage management by Stacy Albrecht and is produced by John Harris.  It stars Caroline BuckinghamCaitlin ClugstonIan CroweAmy GartnerRana LavioletteOlivia LeonJulian Lokash, Ryan NunezAshlyn O'SheaGeneva PerkinsAlexandra Nicole QuispeMatthew RamerSari Rosofsky, and Scott Walters.

All performances at 8 pm except Sundays Jan 28, Feb 4 and 11, when there is a 2pm matinée only (no evening performance). Tickets are $33-38, and are available on line at www.usnitedplayers.com or at the door.
