The world of Greek Mythology comes alive in an epic theatrical staging. The Odyssey follows the many adventures of Odysseus and his sailors on their long journey home from the Trojan War. Meet Athena, Poseidon, the Cyclops, and many others as the tales of Ancient Greece unfold in an unforgettable story that spans the seas and the decades.

This voyage features Vancouver actors Jackson Andrews, Adam Berquist, Lisa Bunting (as Greek Goddess Athena), Anthony Ingram, Samantha Madely, Joshua Reynolds, Teryl Rothery, Tobias Slezak (as our hero Odysseus), and Allan Zynik.

Joining Director Jack Paterson on the production team are Set Designer Al Frisk, Costume Designer Barbara Clayden, Lighting Designer Darren Boquist, Sound Designer Jeff Tymoschuk, Fight Director Nick Harrison, Choreographer Melissa Young, Stage Manager Danielle Fecko, and Production Manager James Foy.

Director Jack Paterson's association with Carousel Theatre began in 1992, when he was a teen actor in the Teen Shakespeare Program's production of A Midsummer Night's Dream, along with current Artistic Director, Carole Higgins. Jack has staged the Teen Shakespeare Program for the last 2 seasons. Carousel Theatre went on to mentor Jack and Mad Duck Equity Co-op for the critically acclaimed productions of Julius Caesar and Titus Andronicus. Last year, Jack received the Ray Michal Award for Emerging Director and has received two Jessie nominations for Outstanding Direction - Small Theatre.
