Be prepared to re-think your concept of ballet and choreography in this performance series where Ballet BC’s new work is unveiled. As Artists-in-Residence at the Shadbolt Centre over the 2012/13 season, Ballet BC’s Choreographic Series focuses on developing new choreographers and choreography from within the Ballet BC Company, culminating in a sneak peak of their works-in-progress. “...sizzling, sophisticated...” Georgia Straight Ballet BC is leading the way in innovation with their breathtaking contemporary repertoire. This rigours commitment to innovation will be extended to dancers within the company to explore their own creative process as choreographers.
