— Production poster WE ARE THREE SISTERS United Players is proud to present the Canadian première of: Finding solace in their own thoughts and the austere beauty of the surrounding moors, the Bronte sisters cast their eye over the world with searing intensity – hopeful and honest, scathing and funny, beautiful and beguiling. And as is made abundantly clear, these are women ahead of their time and deep down they know it. Despite, by their own admission, knowing nothing of life, they are wiser and wittier than more educated and more cosmopolitan souls. Riveting, heart-warming, and thought-provoking, We Are Three Sisters is an ode to sisterhood, women, artists, and dreamers. We Are Three Sisters stars Olesia Sjewchuk as Charlotte Bronte, Victoria Lyons as Anne, and Maria Luisa Alvarez as Emily, with Jordon Navaratil, Douglas Abel, Sean Allan, Helen Martin, Emma Middleton, Nick Preston, and David Secunda. We Are Three Sisters is directed by Sandra M. Ferens with set design by Carolyn Rapanos, costumes by Elliott Squire, lighting design & Technical direction by Graham Ockley, sound design by Neil Griffith, stage management by Linzi Voth, and production management by Vera Gammert. We Are Three Sisters runs at the Jericho Arts Centre (1675 Discovery) from June 7-30, Thursday through Sunday. All performances at 8 pm except Sunday 30th June, when there is a matinée at 2pm. Tickets are $16 - $20 and are available at the door. Preview: June 6th, all tickets $10. Talk back session: after the show on June 13th.
