What poetry offers to literature, puppetry can bring to the theatre.

Metamorphosis depicts the constantly changing nature of our existence and our perception. Nothing remains the way it seems – it doesn’t matter what we see but how we see it.

Iceland's Master Puppeteer, Bernd Ogrodnik brings a collection of original short stories to life through the metaphorical grace of puppetry.  The vignettes range from the trivial to the metaphysical and emphasize the imagery made possible only through the surrealistic quality inherent in puppetry.

Featuring a cast of the most intricate marionettes and rod puppets carved of wood, and unforgettable characters created simply with silk scarves and the hands and feet of the puppeteer.

Bernd Ogrodnik leaves his audience with images that occupy them long after leaving the theatre, strengthening them in dealing with the "theatre of daily life".

Don't miss this rare opportunity to see world puppetry at its finest.
