Meet Emilia Bassano. She's angry, at how she is silenced, struggling to publish, defined by the men in her life. Angry that she is remembered by history only as the "Dark Lady" of Shakespeare's sonnets. A poet, a feminist, a mother, and more. Can all these identities reside in the same person?

Emilia stars Marion Landers, Kiomi Pyke, Aurora Rain and Charmaine Sibanda as Emilia with
Fernanda Aguilar, Amy Amantea, Holly Collis Handford, Addison Forster, Jennifer Gaze, Penny Handford, Samantha Hussey, Gabriella Klein, Dana Schindel, PirilSesli, Hayley Sullivan, Elaine Thrash and Ina Wang.
Emilia is directed by Lois Anderson, with music composed by Sierra Haynes, musical director Glee Devereaux, dance choreographer Ali Watson, fight choreographer Sylvie La Rivière, set & costume design by Cecilia Vadala, lighting design by Harika Xu, sound design by Sierra Haynes, technical direction by Jamie Sweeney, stage management by Anita Jian, and is produced by Linda Begg.
Emilia runs in-house from Nov 12–Dec 5, Thursday through Saturday at 8 pm, Sundays at 2pm. Talkback night: Nov. 18.
