A Hundred Words for Snow

directed by Tamara McCarthy
Jericho Arts Centre, Sept. 11 - Oct 4

In reality, Rory's dad was a geography teacher. But inside, she knows he was an intrepid explorer.  When he dies suddenly, Rory knows he needs to make one last expedition.  With Dad's ashes at her side, Rory sets off in the footsteps of all the dead beardy explorers before her, to get Dad to the North Pole... before Mom finds out they've gone.

Don't miss this one woman play with BIPOC actor Hana Joi embodying a feisty young woman who sets off to the wilds of Canada in a tale of feminine daring-do, beating the odds in a melting world, and all with a twist of fun!

Warning: explicit sexual content.

A Hundred Words for Snow stars Hana Joi as Rory.   It is directed by Tamara McCarthy, with lighting design by Graham Ockley, set design by Graham Ockley and Tamara McCarthy, sound design by Nico Dicecco, set decoration & props by Linda Begg, stage management by Mandeep Sunnard, technical direction by Leighton Taylor, and is produced by Fran Burnside.
