Metro Theatre Presents Legally Blonde: The Musical

Metro Theatre proudly presents Legally Blonde: The Musical, a vibrant, feel-good production based on the beloved hit film, running May 8 (preview) through June 7, 2026. Directed by Christopher King, whose recent credits include Metro Theatre’s Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and the Ovation Award-winning production of Chickens, this high-energy musical comedy celebrates resilience, and the strength in remaining true to yourself.

When Elle Woods, a fashionable and bubbly sorority president, is unexpectedly dumped by her boyfriend Warner on the eve of graduation, she refuses to accept defeat. Determined to win him back, Elle follows him to Harvard Law School, chihuahua in tow. But what begins as a quest for love soon becomes something much bigger.

Faced with skepticism, judgment, and a world that underestimates her, Elle must decide whether to change herself to fit in, or embrace what makes her different and prove everyone wrong. Packed with catchy songs, laugh-out-loud moments, and heartfelt surprises, Legally Blonde: The Musical delivers an uplifting reminder that kindness, authenticity, and determination are powerful forces.

The production features Celeste Nicholson as Elle Woods, supported by a dynamic cast and ensemble bringing Harvard and Delta Nu to life.

With choreography by Makayla Moore and music direction by Marquis Byrd, the production delivers a visually bold and exhilarating theatrical experience that will delight musical theatre fans and newcomers alike.
