LA CAGE AUX FOLLES Music & Lyrics by JERRY HERMAN NOV. 26-DEC. 24, 2011 For a naughty and nice alternative this Holiday Season, the Vancouver Playhouse Theatre Company is presenting the fabulous Broadway hit musical La Cage aux Folles, on stage at the Vancouver Playhouse from November 26 to December 24, 2011. Tickets can be reserved online at vancouverplayhouse.com, by calling the Playhouse Box Office at 604 873 3311, or in person at the theatre box office Monday - Friday, 10am-5pm. La Cage aux Folles is generously sponsored by Great-West Life. This tuneful and touching tale is one family’s struggle to stay together… stay fabulous… and above all else, stay true to themselves! Georges owns a glitzy nightclub in lovely St. Tropez and his partner, Albin, is the glamorous chanteuse Zaza. When George’s son brings his fiancée’s conservative parents home to meet the flashy pair, the bonds of family are put to the test. The glorious score of hummable melodies by Jerry Herman and the book by Harvey Fierstein will have audiences in stitches every night (and matinees too!). THE COMPANY DAVID M. ADAMS (M.
